My photo-based artwork focuses on an exploration of the body, reflecting life in a constant state of flux, with organisms being affected by natural selection, biological processes, scientific intervention and consumer desire. The images reference medical photographs, botanical drawings, natural history museum displays, horror films, documentary images and fairy tales and touch on discussions surrounding bioengineering, medical research, cloning, evolution, and plastic surgery. My studio is located in Huntington Beach, California and my work can be seen through Acuna Hansen Gallery in Los Angeles.
