Seeking Personal Stories and Experiences with Mind Altering /Intoxicating Substance or Practices

I’m conducting research through first person narratives about experiences you may have had with legal and non-legal mind-altering substances or practices as inspiration for a new body of work. Mind altering substances may include any of the following (or others): tobacco, alcohol, caffeine, cannabis, all opiates (oxycontin, vicodin, heroin, morphine), psilocybin mushrooms, ayahuasca, ecstasy peyote, San Pedro cactus, salvia divinorum, LSD, cocaine, methamphetamine, anti-depressants or others. I’m also interested in experiences with practices that may take you to a new level of consciousness such as rituals, chanting or meditation.
